Video Update #8: Quick look at a new surface level

This video shows some combat in the level, as well as how I do the pathfinding.  I’m using a customized version of A* that uses nodes that I place manually.  Each node has a certain radius, which lets me add some random variation so that pathfinding looks more natural.

As always, everything is very unpolished.  I’m in “fast content creation” mode.
